My Mentors
Jasmine Marie
Author, Speaker, Founder
Jasmine Marie has been a guiding force in my breathwork practice, teaching me to approach healing as both a personal and collective act. As my breathwork mentor, she models how intentional breathing can restore nervous system balance, release stored stress, and reconnect people to their bodies with compassion and care. Her leadership through Black Girls Breathing has deepened my understanding of rest as resistance and healing as a communal practice, shaping how I hold space so others can soften, release, and return to themselves.
“Loris Adams, 100-hour graduate of the black girls breathing® Breathwork Training Program led by Jasmine Marie, CEO & Founder of black girls breathing®.”

Dr. Liza Talusan
Author, Strategic Partner, Leader
Dr. Liza Talusan has been a grounding influence in my development as a coach, shaping both my practice and my presence. Through her emphasis on reflective inquiry, courageous dialogue, and identity-conscious leadership, she has taught me to listen more deeply, hold complexity, and center belonging in every space I facilitate. Her mentorship continues to guide how I attend to power, foster trust, and create environments where people can speak their truth with dignity and care.
